“Your home must be so neat and organised!” This would be one of the most common statements people make when they learn I’m a Professional Organiser and President of the Australasian Association of Professional Organisers (AAPO). The answer however, may not be what everyone expects.
You see like most people, life gets busy - even for a highly organised person like me. The days can be a constant juggle between making lunches, co-ordinating school runs, working full-time, running errands and squeezing in time with friends and family. Somewhere in there, the washing still needs to get done, meals prepared and bills paid.
Does this sound all too familiar?
I can guarantee you, when life gets this full, if you were to walk into my office or home, you may just be surprised by what you see - paperwork can accumulate and the dishwasher may not be unpacked straight away.

Now let me ask you a quick question: What immediately comes to mind when I ask you to identify the “hot spots” in your home - what are the areas that let you down in terms of staying organised? I’m interested to know your thoughts, so please feel free to post your comments and feedback here.
